We’re excited to announce a special Tor Books author event being held in conjunction with ReaderCon this weekend! You can join Felix Gilman, Max Gladstone, Paul Park, and Brian Staveley for a discussion and book signing this Sunday, July 13th at 3:30pm in Burlington, MA!

These four genre-bending SF&F authors will be talking Worldbuilding and Storytelling in Fantastical Universes, a topic they all know a thing or two about since each of them have novels out from Tor Books this year!

Felix Gilman follows his spectacularly reviewed Half-Made World duology with The Revolutions, a standalone novel filled with interplanetary adventure that Publisher’s Weekly describes as “a remarkable, hugely enjoyable performance.”

Full Fathom Five combines epic and urban fantasy with the rush of a thriller from author Max Gladstone, who was recently nominated for the 2014 John W. Campbell Best New Writer award! You can also catch him on our Rocket Talk podcast discussing online gaming, the blogosphere, and representational fiction!

Paul Park is described as “a brilliant, stunning, frightening writer” by Gene Wolfe, and he lives up to this in All Those Vanished Engines, an extraordinarily intense novel in three parts, each set in its own alternate-history universe.

Brian Staveley’s The Emperors Blades is the first book in a gripping new epic fantasy series following the three children of a slain emperor on their quests to find their father’s murderer. You can read the first seven chapters and then take part in a scavenger hunt with an excerpt from Staveley’s next novel as the prize!

For more information on this event you can visit B&N or call the store at (781) 273-3871! We hope to see you all there!
